Since I’ve been asked about it a few times now, I’ve made a digital art calendar as well. There are some repeated images from my 2011 calendar (which is no longer available because it’s not 2011 any more), as well as some newer and much older pieces that haven’t appeared in any prior calendars. Guess this means I really should start getting back into photomanipulations again some time soon

Since I already hold fragilemuse.deviantart.com but can't switch my print account or gallery over there, and I am SO SICK of "emaleth" (it's an old old name I no longer relate to in the slightest) I went with the next best thing. I was hoping that dA would eventually let us claim other usernames we hold but alas, I doubt that day will come for a long time yet.
Working on a new digital piece, which is exciting! I've had this one in my head for the past 2 years and life just kept getting in the way. I finally had the weekend off so I said "FUCK IT!!" and took the stock photos I needed and it has been born! Hopefully I'll have it done in the next few days. we'll see.
Other than that I've been busy busy with work and hoping to find the time to start painting again. I just sold a piece on Saturday and had two more commissioned so I must get those started!!! meep!! I'm also still working on the cover art for the next I, Parasite album.

This and That

So glad spring has finally arrived. I'm really feeling excited and hopeful about all aspects of this year in both my art, photography and professional career!
I've started getting over my fear of working with models and am really getting into creative collaborations with some very talented people! It has been a great learning experience and I cannot wait to see what else we can come up with. Lovina, especially, is a creative genius and has so many wild ideas in that head of hers, so keep your eyes open for many more photo sets in the near future.

I tend to update it more than dA just because I'm lazy like that.
I'm also on Tumblr if you're into that sort of thing. It's more of a dumping ground for inspirational photos, cats, and sometimes the odd piece of my own work. fragilemuse.tumblr.com
We're still also working on SPREE! Due to budgetary shortfalls we have to put off shooting the movie until the fall, but we're still trying to spread the word and raise funds so please check that out as well: facebook.com/SPREEthemovie
In other news, I'm still painting, though my goal of one painting a month this year has kinda slipped away. I've just been too busy with life and work so as long as I'm keeping busy in SOME creative way I'll be happy. I'm currently working on a painting that will be used as the album cover for my dear friend Christopher Jon's next release as I, Parasite. And in random career news, I'm still working as a background actor in nearly everything that shoots in Toronto so that has been a lot of fun. Watch out for the season 3 premier of Lost Girl because Maggie and I were very featured in a very sexy way! lol
It won't be airing for a while yet so I'll remind you guys when the date gets close. Aside from that, I am about a month away from FINALLY getting my ACTRA Apprentice status so that is going to be a very exciting day. It's been a long journey to this point and I am glad that all my hard work is finally going to be paying off very soon!
Okay, I'll stop rambling now. There are still many photos from our Red Ridinghood shoot that need editing!
