driving down these highways, leaving everything behind. watching the evening sun shimmer on the marsh grasses, soft yellow and green, blurred by tears. hours left alone with my thoughts. these are the borderlands and i'm afraid to tread further, this journey tears me apart, but it's a path i must travel.
